Vision:
To create a stimulating and respectful learning environment which ensures individual students become autonomous leaders in their pursuit of a well-rounded, multi-faceted education grounded in innovation, aspiration, and imagination.
URDU is a one the most popular and important language in the Indian national languages, and it has second official language status in many states of the country. Government of Andhra Pradesh implemented Urdu as official second language so far in several districts of the state. Recently in 2016, Government of Andhra Pradesh established Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University at Kurnool.

Mission:
The overall mission of the Urdu Department is to promote literacy, which plays a prominent role in the world of communication, specifically in India for the ability to read, write and think critically. It also provides diverse educational opportunities that empower students to become innovative, knowledgeable, and compassionate members of a global community.
