Mission:

The overall mission of the Department is

• To impart quality education for lifelong professional growth and opportunity in a wide range of Careers.
• To create awareness towards socio-ethical implications of potentials of biotechnology.

History:

Biotechnology course was introduced in the college during the academic year 2001-02. The course is being offered with the combination of Biotechnology, Zoology & Chemistry. From Inception, the department produced students who reached frontiers of Science.
